Use the queries below to:

  • find a bug that matches a problem you are seeing
  • learn what users and developers have reported or asked for

Most queries focus on "problems" (some narrowly focused), not user reported enhancement requests.

These queries are great examples for learning now to improve your own bug queries - click "Edit Search" at the bottom of a query page to see how the query was created.

Clear, reproducible bug reports are more likely to get fixed, and you can help improve them using Thunderbird bug triage. Queries marked "(triage)" are great starting points for that purpose. You can also contact us to help with Bugdays.

General Queries, General Information

Thunderbird bug reports are mostly found in bugzilla "products" which have multiple "comoponents":

"Components" links on the left show all the bug reports for that component. A button to "watch" the product or component allows you to get email when activity occurs in the bug reports for that area.

Function and UI based Queries

These queries use advanced query, typically accross multiple components, with multiple keywords. Most of these are great for picking bugs for triage.
