Ship out of process plugins and associated UI pieces to Windows users.

Status

  • IN FLIGHT
  • Project Lead: bsmedberg
  • Project Members: dolske (UI), other OOPP/E10S folks
  • UI finished, OOPP enabled for Alpha 2.

Goals

  • Implement a UI for use when a plugin crashes.
  • Stabilize and ship OOPP in a release.

Non-Goals

  • Full E10S (Out-Of-Process Tabs)

Timeline / Milestones

  • trunk Alpha 1 -- OOPP pref'd off
  • trunk Alpha 2 -- OOPP UI landed and OOPP on by default for Windows
