Development Updates
FF/TB 1.5.0.2/1.0.8
- We released Thunderbird 1.0.8, 1.5.0.2 and the Mozilla Suite 1.7.13 on Fri. Yay!!
- This should be the last release for the 1.0.x and Suite 1.7.x lines. Yay!!
- Firefox 1.5.0.2 Y! CJK builds were generated on Fri. Testing should be completed by Tues.
- The Thunderbird 1.0.8 Ja locale build will be tested and released this week. That is a localizer-built release that we host.
FF/TB 1.5.0.3
- The Release Team has reveiwed all blocker nominations, blocker patch approval requests and non-blocker patch approval requests. This is the cleanest the request queues have been for a 1.5.0.x release!!
- Important dates:
- April 24th (today!) - Closing the door for new approval requests. Only bugs that are considered "stop-ship" will be considered. We need to focus on the 50 bugs that need final branch patches or need landing.
- May 1st (Monday) - Firefox/Thunderbird code freeze.

- Working on planning for various marketing events

Marketing Updates
- Firefox Flicks winners will be announced Thursday at awards event in San Francisco at the Kabuki Theater from 2-4pm. Event will include a reception and panel discussion on community created video. - Scheduling Spread Firefox meeting to review first mainstream outreach program, and collect feedback. Pkim is contacting SFX members directly, shooting for Tue/Wed. this week.
