Do you have a phenomenal demo you want to show off? Do you need help with your awesome project? Are you working on experiment or idea that needs feedback?

The Drumbeat Festival will hold a Science Fair on opening night. The idea: show off what you've got and seek out collaborators for the next two days.

The Science Fair is scheduled on Wednesday, November 3 from 9pm – 11pm. It will take place as part of the opening reception, following a keynote by Creative Commons CEO Joi Ito. We'll have tables, chairs, power-outlets...and cocktails! Other participants will wander around the exhibits, stopping to chat, watch demos, ask questions, and generally just dive in and talk about stuff.

This will be your first chance to present something at the Festival -- research, prototypes, demos, crazy ideas, experiments, trials, tests, investigations, studies, or whatever else -- in a casual setting to some of the smartest and best people working on building and supporting open education on the web today.

Sign up, space is limited!

While we'd love to have every Summit attendee participate in the Science Fair, we only have so much time and space. There are a limited number of slots available, which will be assigned on a first-come-first-served basis.

Sign up now: Drumbeat Festival Science Fair Sign-up Sheet Sign-ups end on October 25. Festival organizers will select approximately 25 proposals, giving equal weight to demo worthiness (will people get it?) and timing of your proposal (early submissions get higher priority).
