Open Web Applications depend on the performance and features of modern web browsers. In this context, 'modern' means supporting at least the following features:


  • Consistent and W3C standard web page rendering
  • Support for advanced HTML5 and CSS3
  • Fast JavaScript performance

Examples of these are the latest versions of Google's Chrome, Mozilla's Firefox, and Apple's Safari.
