Auto-tools/WorkWeek 2010Q4

There is a set of things that would be good to discuss/whiteboard next week when we have the team together. As usual, I want to keep these as minimal as possible, but there are a couple of things that Bob and I would like to address. If you have other topics you'd like to chat with the entire team about, claim a time.

• Unscheduled
  • Some of us will need to meet with a third party company helping them automate graphics testing (pm me for details)

• Monday
  • The normal 10AM -- focus on Goals, where are we, what should we cut, should we add, etc?
  • 1:00 - 1:30 Own A Test Component! -- As Alice brought up on Monday, we should really define ownership (w.r.t. triage and planning) for test components. So pick a component to own (or one will be picked for you bwahahaha)
  • 2pm - Tools & Automation in 2011 -- Where do we want to go, what kinds of things do we want to have possible, what kinds of things do we want to be better at etc and how do we get there?

• Tuesday
  • 10ish: Demo time -- got anything you want to demo? Mark's bugzilla thing? Bob's School o' Fish? Orange Factor?
  • 11: Platform Meeting
  • 1:30pm: Doing the Buildbot Handoff -- we've done this a couple of times now, it's gone OK sometimes, abysmally others, how can we make this easier/simpler/repeatable.
