The following is a list of projects and tasks that will need to be completed between the mozilla.com redesign launch on 12/14/10 and the Firefox 4 release sometime in Q1. Once we've confirmed the available resources, we should group these into a series of bi-weekly releases.

Engagement

  • Site promo tagging

Optimizations

  • Homepage
    • need to add design/brand flair while maintaining (or increasing) existing conversion rate
    • tweak copy
    • add download counter (or static "More than XX Billion Downloads" message)

Universal Header

  • UI improvements
    • need to smooth over any issues caused by the common header (such as AMO or SUMO users clicking on the logo in the upper left expecting to return to those individual homepages but going to the main Firefox one instead)

Domain Change

  • change mozilla.com and all subpages to mozilla.org/firefox (and the appropriate subpages)

Download Counter

  • update Firefox download counter so it once again functions correctly
