Instant Update Add-ons

These were formerly known as "trusted" add-ons, but are no longer selected on a trust basis.

  • What is an Instant Update Add-on?
    • A Instant Update Add-on will have its updates automatically pushed public without being reviewed by an AMO editor.
    • The Instant Update list only holds a few add-ons developed by Mozilla that require quick pushes to public.
  • What is the criteria for becoming a Instant Update Add-on?
    • No more add-ons will be included in this list.
