I'll make this look pretty later.

Approval Queue?

[02:12] <morgamic> having a removal queue at all is an assumption we have to question.

[02:12] <morgamic> err approval.

[02:12] <morgamic> would there be a better model?

[02:12] <morgamic> a queue by nature backs up.

[02:13] <morgamic> what could we do to make the good add-ons float to the top based on popular opinion as well as some minor reviewing by our reviewers?

[02:13] <fligtar> If we have a queue, I would prefer it list the extension name, and very very basic info like supported apps/oses and then you click to see an approval page where we can dump all the info instead of hiding the form and description and such

[02:13] <morgamic> yeah, i agree with that.

[02:13] <morgamic> the main queue is too busy.

[02:14] <morgamic> plus, it doesn't allow N reviews per approval.

[02:14] <morgamic> i think the current process is a QA process that would be used to determine the overall quality of an add-on and could determine whether or not it's "super shiny"

[02:15] <morgamic> might not be best for _all_ the stuff out there

[02:15] <morgamic> just the ones we want to put our stamp of approval on

[02:15] <fligtar> we could add a field for a reviewer to mark that they are interested in reviewing this addon in the future (if it's not already taken by someone) and then when a new version is submitted, they get an email
