Speaker(s): David Baron

Proposed Track: Technology & Product

Summary: I want to talk about how pieces of technology become part of the core Web platform (that is, part of HTML, CSS, or APIs that we expose to Web applications). So I want to talk about:

  • how we (should) decide how new Web features should work
  • how those features can move from an idea to something interoperable (implemented and usable across browsers)
  • how to approach fixing bugs or implementing new features in Gecko's support for HTML, CSS, and Web APIs

Language in which the talk will be given: English (or if it's preferred, I could probably try Spanish)
