• We want to help people understand how the web works, take control of their digital lives, and create a more web literate world
• We're doing that through three core components:

  • 2) PROJECTS. To help you make something amazing fast.
  • 3) COMMUNITY. Bringing diverse backgrounds together. Educators, youth,

Why? • Literacy. the web + code = emerging 4th literacy. Vital 21st century skill. Everyone should know how the web works. For citizenship, creativity, innovation. • Mozilla's Mission. Governments, start-ups and others getting into this space. As a non-profit, Mozilla is uniquely posed to help. Growing our mission to keep the web open and awesome. Improving people's lives and work through open tech. • Community. Mozilla is all about our community. This is a chance to invite millions of new people into that community.
