Summary:
How your session furthers the MozCamp Goals (https://wiki.mozilla.org/MozCampEU2012/Tracks):
- Teaches more people how easy and effective profiling desktop Firefox can be
- Identifies causes behind performance problems that can be demonstrated in-person, thereby helping improve Firefox
Expected Outcome or Deliverable:
- Enlarge pool of contributors able to perform (and thereby teach) deeper technical analysis of problems they encounter
- Identify some problems in desktop Firefox, furthering the process by which they can be fixed
Desired Audience Type or Skill-set:
- People with reproducible performance stutters, lags, etc. in Firefox
- People who want to learn how to contribute to fixing bugs without needing to write code
Equipment Needs (Video projector already included):
- Power outlets, internet connection
