Summary: An introduction into the active migration going on in the graphics Platform Code. And how community members can help make a contribution to the bulk of work that needs to be done here.

How your session furthers the MozCamp Goals (https://wiki.mozilla.org/MozCampEU2012/Tracks): The planned migration should offer improved performance and responsiveness across all important platforms.

Expected Outcome or Deliverable: Increased community contributions related to graphics in the core gecko code base.

Desired Audience Type or Skill-set: Basic C++ skills

Equipment Needs (Video projector already included): None, perhaps some workplaces if a more workshop oriented session is desired.
