Summary

The following is a test plan for testing the Click To Play feature on Alexa Top Sites.

Instructions

1. Install Firefox 17 from here

2. Start Firefox

3. Go to about:config and change the plugins.click_to_play pref on TRUE

4. Open Alexa Top Sites page

5. From the top 100 list choose the sites (that are using different plugins) you would like to test the CTP feature on

6. Add your results in the "Test Results" section below

Expected results

• The plugin should be blocked. A click-to-play notification saying "Click here to activate the plugin" should occur. Clicking the notification should activate the plugin and the content of the page should be properly displayed.
