Pros

  • We no longer use pop-up windows

Cons

  • The tab-modal sheet obscures the content area, which for some types of content handling (like microformat detection), could be problematic.
  • The close button on the notification bar may be confused with the close button on the tab due to the similar color.
  • This UI is spoofable
