Below are the main platforms people are concerned about. If there is another platform you care about, please let us know.

Linux

There are many flavors of linux, below are the ones that we are aware of active interest in.

Maemo (Nokia N800/N810)

• status
  • trunk
    • TestGtkEmbed builds and runs on both x86 and ARMEL targets (in scratchbox)
    • Minefield (i.e. ./firefox) runs in x86 target (again, in scratchbox)
    • Minefield hangs in scratchbox ARMEL target.
    • Minefield runs on N800 with OS2008

  • Trunk build instructions for Maemo

DirectFB based platforms

• Status
  • A Porting approach document is being prepared for review by the gfx developers

Windows Mobile

    • fonting (lack of uniscribe support)

Symbian

We are aware of active interest in this platform but do not currently have any plans to port to it. If you would like to work on this, please contact us on the mobile irc channel or by email and we'd be happy to support you as best we can.
