Gigabit
Mozilla is launching the Gigabit Community Fund to support innovators in Kansas City and Chattanooga develop & experiment with education & workforce development opportunities on next gen networks.
Next generation communication and networking technologies offer opportunities for everyone in our communities.
Mozilla, in partnership with the National Science Foundation (NSF) and US Ignite, is creating the Mozilla Gigabit Community Fund to support development, experimentation and deployment of learning experiences and workforce development opportunities enhanced by next gen networks.
The Fund will invest in projects that are pragmatic, deployable in the near term, integrated with a local org’s service offerings, testable in a 12 week pilot, have measurable impact on constituents, and are re-usable and shareable in some way.
