These are the project collaboration groups set up during the Mozilla Open Education Course. Group pages should also be linked to from the Participants page as the home of your project blueprints.

Group Blueprints

The group blueprints are the point of forming this kind of group group. Here is the blueprint template and here is an example. Your blueprint home is where you keep your notes, upload screen-shots or mock-ups and share your ideas. Make sure you link to your blueprint home from the Participants page.

List of Groups

Here is where a small description of the group can be put here with links to the group page(s) and other resources. The text in the sections are merely suggestions to give groups a starting point.

A basic description of the group's project should go here with a link to the group page, if there is such a page.

The group's page should have more information than put here. Links to resources and references should be included. Group tags, the group blueprint, the member list and task breakdowns should all go on the group's wiki page if they exist.

A more in depth description of the group's goals for this project and the blueprint should go here. Links to webpages related to the project direction would make a good addition.

Links to user pages would be a good idea. Perhaps we should move the contents of out introductions onto the user pages. Adding interesting, helpful and relevant content to the basic user pages would be a good idea too.

Social LCMS

The discussion and design of a system, or set of systems, that might resemble an LCMS with more of a focus on community and social factors. This could be considered the big overarching system into which the other goals and projects might fit. In discussions there are people focusing on different elements of it and discussing their interactions.

Collaborative Blueprint

"The components of an LCMS are:

  • content authoring/editing
  • the ability to acquire and ingest externally developed assets
  • a centralized learning repository (ex. Question Pool, Shared Documents Library)
  • assessment development
  • versioning and history
  • metadata / taxonomy support
  • support for publishing of web, CD, print, presentation requirements associated with e-learning or ILT
  • standards support
  • development process management
  • a dynamic delivery interface; and,
  • student administration tools" -[1]
