  • looking great overall so far
  • fennec rollout bumped to 25% wednesday, bumped to 99% today
  • desktop should be bumped to 100% today as well
  • video issue with some amd gpus and older drivers, plan to workaround by disabling gpu process for affected users, which we can do remotely (yay blocklists) - bug 1417442

• 58.0b
  • deved b2 canceled due to updater issue
  • catlee is following up with SV to figure out next steps (this might have affected nightly for ~3 weeks)
  • desktop 58.0b3 had to get a build2 for last minute containers issue, then CDN issues prevented us from shipping that and we had to build 58.0b4 instead
  • today's build is cancelled (not much to uplift, everyone's in recovery mode from 57 launch), 58.0b5 gtb on monday
  • 58.0b3 fennec rolled out at 10%, further rollout will block on bug 1413500
  • tl;dr: 58 is not in a happy place quite yet

  • many user comments; they say it's a repeated crash at startup
