The purpose of this document is to plan and scope a contributor dashboard specific to Testday contributors. For context, please see David Boswell's Conversion Points document.

Conversion Points

Mapping tasks to conversion points to create a framework for climbing the contributor ladder. For the purposes of this document we will reduce scope to testday contributions.

  • Joining the #testday IRC channel
  • Signing up for a Mozillians account
  • Vouching for a friend on Mozillians
  • Signing up for a Moztrap account
  • Completing a Moztrap testrun
  • Signing up for a Bugzilla account
  • Filing an UNCONFIRMED bug
  • First regression bug filed
  • First blocker bug filed
  • First security bug filed
  • Bug status changed from UNCONFIRMED -> NEW
  • Bug status changed from RESOLVED FIXED -> VERIFIED FIXED
  • Attach a testcase to a bug, testcase-wanted -> testcase
  • Use mozregression to find a regression range, regressionwindow-wanted -> regression
  • Find steps to reproduce, qawanted removed
  • Bringing new members to a testday
  • Helping to answer questions and guide other testers
  • Responding to a QMO, mailinglist, facebook, or twitter post
