As Gloda is first solution of problem of [https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=383895 Bug 383895] (slowness in body text search of local mail data), and as many IMAP servers have excellent body text search functionality, consider utilizing of online search first for IMAP mail data.
