* The general update function should watch extension and theme updates too, and especially:
** Provide a list of updates with check boxes next to each, "Firefox has found updates for the following, click on each item for details". (Take a look at the windows program "autopatcher" [[:Image:Autopatcher screenshot.png|screenshot]] for another update package that does this very nicely)
** If a core update would break an extension or theme, it should by defaulot prevent it unless the item is disabled or uninstalled first. It shouldn't allow incompatible modules to run without a user override, and it should draw attention to the potential risks of override: "Only do this if you are sure, the author has not guaranteeed compatibility."
* I'd be happy to see options for individual extensions open up a general options box that controlled all options for all modules in FF. Only thing is, not to make it too confusing. Different modules may have different option box needs. But one common option box would be a sensible idea -- open it from extensions manager you get directly to the option box for that extension is all. Maybe under the "tools" menu there are "Options..." and "Extension options..."?
