[feature request] I would appreciate it if Thunderbird saved all its messages physically as .eml files. The addressbook should also store files in some other format, an XML format (hCard?) or vCard. | |||
Rationale: Recovering from a disaster would be much easier if the individual E-mails and addressbook entries could be copied. It would also make archiving easier: just move them out of the profile folder and burn them onto a CD. | |||
Windows Mail has already proven that for a major mail client this is possible -as well as easy copying between clients. |
