Status of new collectors [lars]
- syslog is dropping logs, even locally
- disk is very busy
- seems to keep up
- turn down logging (bug needed)
test with peak traffic, and logging turned down
can single thrift server handle full traffic (versus vip)?

Status check: are we good to go for 1/22?
- Migration plan
smoke test tracker bug 619811
- still waiting on PHX setup(?)
metrics working with cloudera on hbase transfer perf issues, will keep laura updated
- may want to release mware patch for PHX to read from SJC if data missing from PHX
