Doc Sprint Planning

Open Web Doc Sprint

Goal: Create tutorials aimed at web developers on using open web standards.

Dates: 9-11 October, 2010 (tentative)

Location: La Cantine, Paris France

Potential Topics

  • HTML5
  • CSS3
  • JavaScript (esp. multithreading)
  • SVG
  • WebSockets
  • MathML
  • IndexedDB

Some of Paul Rouget's demos could be used as a basis for a tutorial. That is, describe each of the parts that go into the demo, and how they fit together.

Ideal Participant

  • Familiar with at least one of the target topics.
  • Lives in Europe.
  • Moderately fluent in English.
  • Preferably already active in the Mozilla community. However, topic expertise trumps this.
