socorro-crashstats merge recap
progress update: chief for socorro
retiring ganglia?
- Ganglia is a subset of the data now in graphite
- Sun setting it would save us a bunch of puppet refactoring
  - ganglia + chief contend for a puppet resource
- There are some alerts that depend on it
- We may have to wait for umpire
- Cap'nShove would obviate the underlying problem
- Wait a few weeks to see how Cap'nShove works out
What's up with dev
- It's been broken for 11 days, no one noticed.
- Dev is mostly a sandbox for developers, not useful to QA
- Devs use it for data (hbase + postgres)
- we will talk about it roundtable style at stability work week
