This project, driven by the Community Development Team, aims at catalyzing a Mozilla-wide decision and strategy for where and how we invest in our Mission-Driven Mozillians communities.
Mission Driven Mozillians are a persona of contributors who:
- Regularly contribute to a number of activities in support of Mozilla’s mission
- Are highly invested in Mozilla as an organization and a mission
- Contribute in multiple areas (either sequentially or simultaneously)
- (Usually) do not contribute code to Mozilla’s products and technologies
- (Usually) have multiple social connections to other contributors
While there are Mission Driven Mozillians in every area of the project, the major areas of activity for this persona are: evangelizing, teaching, advocating, localizing, documenting, community building and doing testing.

=== Goal ===
The goal of this project is two fold:
* To produce a proposal about the impact of Mission-Driven Mozillians communities and get alignment with Mozilla Leadership on Mozilla's investment and direction in this audience.
* To produce a strategy and roadmap for implementing structures and processes to optimize the health and impact of Mission-Driven Mozillians communities.
This proposal is different to anything we have done in the past, we want to make a decision that will be incorporated in Mozilla’s 2018 strategy and that is a shared approach across the whole organization.
