Owner: Sid Stamm Updated: 2011-03-1
The vision behind Mozilla's 2011 privacy roadmap is focused on users, calling for increased anonymity on the web, starting with sensible privacy defaults, giving users the ability to make informed choices about disclosing their information, facilitating web transparency so users understand how their data is being collected and used, and allowing for flexibility while maintaining sensible baselines for those who are not interested in privacy.
Syncicon.png Sync 2011 Roadmap
Owner: Jennifer Arguello Updated: 2011-03-1
As an organization, we have three main areas of focus: Desktop, Mobile and Apps. Sync and other Services (such as Identity, Social) form a critical foundational piece for each of these areas. Not surprisingly, the priorities for Sync are driven a lot by what we are hoping to achieve on each of these major focus areas. Additionally, there are various areas of user pain that we should address.

Caution plug web.jpg Plugin Interactions Roadmap
Owner: Kev Needham Updated: 2011-03-1
Over the past year we've raised user awareness of content plugins, and improved their interactions with them through the plugin check page and out-of-process plugins. In 2011 we need to continue to educate users about plugins and how they work, and simplify the installation and update process with Firefox. We'll make it easier to install and update the most popular plugins (e.g. Adobe Flash and Reader, Microsoft Silverlight, etc.) and will act as a liason between plugin developers and users. We'll continue to expand and improve our relationships with plugin authors, and proactively work with them to ensure that the content consumption experience is the best it can be for users.
