Bugzilla Meetings

When and where?

While the trunk is open, we now meet only once per month (instead of twice as we did in 2006). When the code will freeze again later this year for the release of Bugzilla 3.2, we will again meet every two weeks, as we did last year. So our next IRC meeting will take place on Tuesday, October 2nd at 11:00 Pacific time (18:00 GMT, 20:00 CEST) in the #bugzilla-meeting channel.

Who can attend?

Everyone interested in being actively involved in the Bugzilla development for 3.2. Wurblzap, justdave, timeless, wicked, myk, mkanat, ghendricks and LpSolit will be there. Feel free to join us (no support question will be discussed there though, use the usual #mozwebtools channel for that).

Removal of unnecessary parameters: final decisions?
- Wurblzap can't participate in the meeting but proposes to keep the parameters marked “removed, should be a group” of panel “Group Security”. Or at least, do something that they don't become system groups. Splitting groups into system groups and user groups is worse than having params for them. I'd rather see current system groups moved to params. --Wurblzap 13:41, 27 September 2007 (PDT)
We are supposed to freeze the code today despite Oracle support is not yet implemented. Do we delay the freezing date or do we skip Oracle support for 3.2?
